Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Property Manager to oversee our multitude of properties and working directly with the Owners of those said properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of real estate management, excellent administrative skills, and the ability to communicate effectively. This role requires a proactive approach to property management, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining and creating new positive relationships with tenants and owners.
Duties
- Manage day-to-day operations of properties, including maintenance, leasing, and tenant/owner relations.
- Ensure compliance with all regulations and local laws.
- Conduct regular property inspections to assess condition and identify maintenance needs.
- Handle tenant/owner inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely manner.
- Oversee lease agreements, renewals, and terminations while ensuring adherence to Section 8 guidelines where applicable.
- Maintain accurate records through data entry for tenant/owner files and property documentation.
- Coordinate with maintenance staff and contractors for repairs and improvements.
- Implement marketing strategies to attract new tenants and manage sales efforts effectively.
- Prepare reports on property performance, occupancy rates, and tenant/owner satisfaction.
Experience
- Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, including time management, record-keeping, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively while juggling multiple responsibilities.
- Strong administrative skills with proficiency in office software for data entry and record keeping.
- Knowledge of regulations and real estate laws is essential.
- Proficient in budgeting, rent collection, and financial management. Understanding leases, contracts, and rental pricing strategies to maximizing a property's profitability.
- Familiarity with Section 8 housing programs is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with tenants, owners, and vendors.
