Description
BASIC FUNCTIONS
Direct and coordinate, either directly or through subordinates, Production Department activities in Achilles USA, Inc. Creates, reviews and analyze reports, records, and directives. Confers with subordinates to obtain data required for planning department activities, such as new commitments, status of work in progress, and problems encountered.
II. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Provides overall leadership and is accountable for results in areas of safety, quality, equal employment opportunity, discrimination and/or harassment, environmental impact, production efficiency, profit, training and development of workforce.
2. Assigns or delegates responsibility for specified work or functional activities for Achilles USA, Inc.
3. Gives work directions, resolves problems, prepares schedules, and sets deadlines to ensure timely completion of work.
4. Completes and oversees employee performance evaluations.
5. Coordinates activities of the Production Department with related activities of other departments to ensure efficiency, safety, training, environmental compliance, quality, profit, productively, and capability.
6. Monitors and analyzes costs and assists in the preparation of budget.
7. Prepares reports and records for the Production Department activities for management.
8. Develops and implements procedures and practices for accomplishing continuous improvement of company and department objectives.
9. May initiate or approve employee hire, promotion, discharge or transfer.
10. Member of the EEO/HR Committee, Priority Project Team, S & E Council, Results.
11. May travel to AUSA’s customers regarding quality, capability, customer processes, etc.
12. Various other duties as assigned.
III. QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training: BA Management or 10 years experience in Industrial environment
Experience: 5 years production management, PVC calendaring production process.
Skills/Aptitude: Excellent communication skills, able to facilitate change. Management, coaching skills. Ability to analyze reports, projections, quality concepts.
Working Conditions: Factory and office environment, potential for air borne particles, high heat, noise
Salary : $100,000 - $130,000
