ACI Federal is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our team in a fast-paced, high-acuity hospital environment. In this role, you will perform high-quality radiographic examinations while ensuring patient safety, proper positioning, and adherence to radiation protection standards. This position is ideal for skilled technologists seeking short-term, full-time contract work with competitive pay.
Position Details
- ⏳ Contract Duration: Short-term
- 🗓 Start Dates: 5/5, 5/12, 5/26
- 🕒 Shifts: 8-hour shifts (5 Days, 2 Nights)
- 💰 Compensation: $55.75/hr
Key Responsibilities
✔️ Greet patients and provide clear explanations of the examination process.
✔️ Accurately position patients and adjust exposure settings for optimal imaging.
✔️ Ensure radiation safety and minimize unnecessary exposure.
✔️ Operate imaging equipment efficiently and report any malfunctions.
✔️ Process films and maintain accurate documentation in the Radiology Information System (RIS).
✔️ Adhere to departmental protocols and procedures as outlined in policy manuals.
✔️ Perform radiologic exams as requested by referring physicians and radiologists.
Qualifications
✅ A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
✅ Active NYS License/Registration as a Radiologic Technologist.
✅ Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (Required).
✅ Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance.
