ACI Plastics Inc. is a plastics recycler processing more than 50 million lbs. a year in Flint, South Carolina and Nebraska. We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management. This position requires a strong understanding of HR practices and the ability to manage change effectively within the organization. The Human Resources Generalist will work closely with management and employees to foster a positive work environment and ensure compliance with company policies.
Duties
- Manage the full cycle of talent acquisition, including job postings, screening resumes, , and onboarding new hires.
- Administer employee benefits programs and assist with employee inquiries regarding benefits.
- Maintain accurate employee records using ADP.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to improve retention strategies.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies while addressing employee concerns.
- Process Bi-weekly payroll for approximately 125 employees in 3 states.
- Plan and organize all company activities such as picnics, parties and employee team building events
Skills
- Associates in Human Resources or minimum of three years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency in all aspects of computer usage, familiarity with ADP is highly desired.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Must be an independent self-starter
- Proficiency in talent acquisition processes, including interviewing techniques.
- SHRM or other professional certification preferred
