Job Summary:

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a PCB Manufacturing Shipping Clerk. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accurate and timely shipment of products to customers worldwide. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to quality will contribute to the overall success of our operations

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

Ability to read, write, and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job.
Proficiency in utilizing computer programs to track and manage multiple shipments efficiently.
Skill in operating hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts to move and transport shipments safely.
Competence in using basic hand tools, such as utility knives, screwdrivers, drills , band cutters, and hammers, to assist in packaging and preparation.
Familiarity with special shipping requirements from carriers such as Federal Express, UPS, and Airborne International.
Capability to lift and move packages weighing up to 25 pounds or more.

*Preferred:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in PCB shipping, demonstrating a solid understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of handling PCB shipments.
Preferences will be given to candidates who have previous shipping experience.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with production teams to ensure timely and accurate packaging of PCBs for shipping.
Utilize computer software to track shipments, update shipping information, and maintain accurate records.
Operate material handling equipment, including hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts, adhering to safety guidelines.
Prepare shipments by selecting appropriate packaging materials, labeling packages correctly, and ensuring secure sealing.
Use basic hand tools to assemble, seal, and secure packaging as needed.
Place production overruns into stock and maintain an organized stock area.
Stay updated on the special shipping requirements of carriers like Federal Express, UPS, and Airborne International to ensure compliance.
Lift and move packages, including those weighing up to 25 pounds, while following proper lifting techniques.
Assist in the loading and unloading of shipment vehicles.
Maintain a clean and organized shipping area for efficient workflow.
Ability to perform at the highest level in a fast-paced environment.
Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
