As a Shipping Clerk you will : Packaging products in an efficient and orderly manner in accordance with all shipping procedures, packing slips, order acknowledgements, and customer requirements to meet delivery schedule and maintain product quality. Accurately completes all necessary documentation in accordance with established procedures for both domestic and international shipments. Coordinate with transportation companies to ship products and ensure on-time delivery. Enters shipping information into carrier automated system to produce shipping labels and tracking information. Counts, sorts, or weighs incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoices and examines stock to verify conformance to specifications. Accepts items into stock or releases items out of stock and records transactions using an ERP system. Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, or other labeling equipment. Performs kit pulls and / or fills orders or issues supplies from stock. Tracks and verifies accuracy of inventory, counts and location, by physically counting and identifying inventory within specific locations. Compiles reports on use of stock handling equipment, adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, damage to stock, location changes, and refusal of shipments. Participates in periodic cycle counts and / or physical inventories and maintains inventory records. This is a full-time, Temp to Hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will have : High School diploma or GED and 2-5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Valid Driver's License Prior shipping experience preferred; international shipping is a plus.
