Your day to day as a Construction Specialist
The Seasonal Construction Specialist position at Ackerman Estvold is a dynamic full-time, temporary role that runs from April to November, tailored for individuals eager to immerse themselves in the construction industry during the summer and fall months of construction season.
In this position, you will undertake general inspection duties onsite, providing essential support for construction projects of low to moderate complexity. Your responsibilities will include performing contract administration tasks, coordinating with Ackerman-Estvold project teams, contractors, and regulatory agencies while ensuring compliance with relevant rules and project requirements through meticulous review of permit applications. You'll collaborate with Civil Engineers in the preparation and evaluation of construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates. As you follow established procedures, you'll apply your foundational knowledge of construction methods and inspection practices, conducting inspections under the guidance of senior inspectors to uphold the highest standards of project quality and compliance.
