Computer Refresh Duties & Responsibilities

Serves as a principal source of information on computer selection reach outs and advises faculty or staff on existing options or alternatives.

Supports outreach to schedule individual deployments as they relate to overall schedule.

May assist in preparing orders for computers and related deployment hardware.

Ensures customer satisfaction with deployments through follow up and corrective action.

Assists in assigning assets to individuals and updating corresponding asset records.

Asset Management Duties & Responsibilities

Works with customers to determine asset reporting needs.

Create reports, review asset trends and review with management on next steps.

Assists in managing inventory and asset tracking.

Tracks purchased assets from inception through resale or disposal

Tracks leased assets from inception through disposal/return

Completes asset audits.

Administrative Duties & Responsibilities

Organizes and implements administrative systems and procedures performing necessary support duties.

Provides for smooth day-to-day flow of communications between our unit, staff, and faculty.

Gathers and maintains data for and assists in preparing reports and/or spreadsheets, often using a variety of computer software.

Will compose, proofread, edit, and prepare correspondence, reports and other materials using Word processing, spreadsheets and/or databases.

Participates in measuring performance and capturing/reporting on lessons learned to continuously improve the deployment project and process.

Contributes to unit goals by accomplishing related duties as required.

Basic Qualifications:

3 years related work experience

Additional Qualifications and Skills:

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong customer service skills with a proven record of accomplishment.

Excel or database skills

Proficiency using a variety of computer software and systems.

A willingness to take ownership and be accountable where appropriate is essential.

Business training beyond high school or college background is preferred.

Excellent

Basic technical background that will allow for an understanding of infrastructure/environment.

Experience

with ServiceNow report generation a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to bend, push, pull, stoop, climb, stand and lift up to 45 pounds frequently (occasional heavier items).
