Machine Operator - Position Overview :
We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Machine Operator to join our team. This role involves operating mesh welders, handling materials, and utilizing various tools to ensure efficient production while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Job Description : Machine Operator
Shift : 6 : 30pm to 7 am
Pay : $19.00 - $22.00
Primary Responsibilities :
Operated machines and handled materials, focusing on loading mesh and wire and catching parts to stack them on skids.
Demonstrate mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic mathematical functions.
Utilize computer-operated equipment as needed.
Ensure the quality of work meets established standards.
Maintain clean and organized work areas.
Adhere to safe work practices in compliance with O.S.H.A. regulations.
Operate various machines and assist in different departments as required.
Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
Meet or exceed production goals and ensure order commitments are fulfilled.
Follow process monitoring instructions accurately.
Undertake additional duties as assigned by leads, supervisors, or management.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements :
Proficient in using a micrometer and tape measure.
Capable of heavy lifting (up to 60 pounds), bending, and stooping.
Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
Strong work ethic with a commitment to punctuality
