Acme Paper & Supply is a successful, family owned business and needs a Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. This can be an entry level candidate or someone with experience. It is a full-time, 40 hours per week position reporting daily to our Jessup office.
*Main Responsibilities:
· Collection of selected customer account invoices receivable
· Cash application backup/overflow/apprentice
· Processing of ACH debits of customer bank accounts
· Processing of credit card charges of customer accounts
· Enter invoices into the 6 customer portals that are currently in use (e.g. Amtrak)
· Verifying that each and every lockbox receipt is auto-applied correctly
· Monitor and process COD remittances returned to Acme by the drivers
*Requirements:
- High school diploma. College courses in accounting a plus.
- Proven strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong writing skills.
- Experience with NetSuite preferred but not required.
