Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Office Manager to oversee the bookkeeping, accounting, and daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient office procedures, managing financial transactions, and ensuring compliance with company policies. The Office Manager will serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, fostering a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all processes.
- Oversee budgeting activities, including preparation and monitoring of budgets.
- Handle payroll processing and ensure timely payment to employees.
- Maintain accurate financial records
- Perform bank reconciliation and manage accounts payable to maintain accurate financial reporting.
- Assist in accounting tasks as needed, providing support during audits or financial reviews.
- Utilize financial software to track expenses, revenues, and other financial metrics.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial transactions and reports.
- Provide administrative support to senior management and assist in special projects as required.
Experience
- Proficienct in Quickbooks
- Strong background in budgeting, payroll management, sales tax, and accounting practices.
- Experience with accounting procedures.
- Familiarity with bank reconciliation processes and accounts payable management.
- Previous experience in public accounting or related fields is a plus.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a busy environment
- Associate’s Degree in Administrative Support/Business Management, Accounting or similar is a plus.
