Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Office Manager to oversee the bookkeeping, accounting, and daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient office procedures, managing financial transactions, and ensuring compliance with company policies. The Office Manager will serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all processes.
  • Oversee budgeting activities, including preparation and monitoring of budgets.
  • Handle payroll processing and ensure timely payment to employees.
  • Maintain accurate financial records
  • Perform bank reconciliation and manage accounts payable to maintain accurate financial reporting.
  • Assist in accounting tasks as needed, providing support during audits or financial reviews.
  • Utilize financial software to track expenses, revenues, and other financial metrics.
  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial transactions and reports.
  • Provide administrative support to senior management and assist in special projects as required.

Experience

  • Proficienct in Quickbooks
  • Strong background in budgeting, payroll management, sales tax, and accounting practices.
  • Experience with accounting procedures.
  • Familiarity with bank reconciliation processes and accounts payable management.
  • Previous experience in public accounting or related fields is a plus.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a busy environment
  • Associate’s Degree in Administrative Support/Business Management, Accounting or similar is a plus.

Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
