What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender/ Beverage Cart Attendant position at ACOG LLC?
Description
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times
- Bartending, taking orders and serving in the Café/Restaurant
- Driving the beverage cart to different areas on the golf course to service food and beverage to guest
- Stock and clean beverage carts, coolers, and/or bar to par levels each day of use
- Operate POS, handle cash, credit account and credit card charges according to procedures
- Communicate effectively with peers, management, line and front of the house employees
- Ensure that all customers are greeted in a timely, friendly, and professional manner
- Assist in upkeep of the golf course as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Expected start April 2025
Requirements
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Ensure compliance of operating guidelines as it relates to TIPS program, as well as operating within all State and Federal Laws, Rules and regulations relating to Alcohol, Cigarette and Tobacco Division
- Must be of legal age to serve liquor according to state law
- Ability to operate computerized/electronic cash register system
- Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely
- Knowledge of and ability to safely operate a motorized beverage cart using proper golf etiquette
- Must have friendly personality and enjoy working with the public
- Must have strong skills in Customer Service
- Must be dependable (early morning and late night hours may be required)
- Assures that all laws applicable to beverage operations are consistently followed
- Collects payment for drinks served
- Greets and provides immediate attention to guests
- Learn the names of regulars and personally recognize them
- Monitor guest experience and take appropriate action to assure the best customer service.
- Inspects the bar prior to opening to ensure adequate supplies and inventory are available
- Prepares garnishes, mixes and pre-mixed drinks
- Performs clean-up and closing duties as assigned
- Adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies including confirming legal drinking age and discontinuing service to intoxicated guests
- Implement and support all course policies and programs as communicated by management
- Perform other duties as assigned
