Our Fire Sprinkler Fitter will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and inspecting wet, dry and pre-action fire suppression systems, and to conduct routine preventative maintenance on fire sprinkler suppression systems. Our ideal candidate will be customer focused and able to work diligently whether part of a team or individually, comes to us with experience, and is ok with some overnight travel throughout Georgia.

Supervisory Responsibilities: No
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance on fire sprinkler suppression systems
- Manual labor including lifting, climbing and clean up
- Service, repair and inspect of wet, dry and pre-action fire suppression systems in strict accordance with applicable codes and standards
- Flow testing of fire hydrants
- Highly organized, motivated team player
- Preferred experience in testing backflow prevention devices and fire pumps
- Interact with customers in a professional manner
- Ability to follow direction and work independently when needed
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years independent field experience
- Mechanically inclined
- Strong attention to detail and a self-starter
- Positive attitude and willingness to obtain progressive certifications within the industry and NFPA applicable permitting and licensing
- Ability to complete accurate and timely maintenance and work records, both written and electronically
- Practices safe work practices per OSHA requirements
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Vocational/Technical school training preferred
- Fire Alarm System Manufacturer certification preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to install system hardware and wiring.
- Ability to stay overnight up to 4 days a week within Georgia
- Must be able to lift 60-75 lbs.
- Must be able to work at elevated heights and from mechanical lifts.
