Position Title: Warehouse Team Lead

GENERAL SUMMARY

A warehouse team lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a warehouse team, ensuring efficient order fulfillment, maintaining safety standards, and coordinating workflow to meet production targets, all while prioritizing quality control and timely deliveries. This position is essentially acting as a front line leader in the warehouse, ensuring smooth operations and high productivity levels by assigning tasks, training new employees, and resolving any issues that may arise within the team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES.

• Lead a team of warehouse workers, assigning tasks and monitoring performance
• Complete Routine Daily/ weekly inventory counts
• Enforce safety regulations and promote a safe working environment in the warehouse
• Verify accuracy of orders and ensure proper product handling to maintain quality standards
• Communicate with management any issues with orders.
• Assist in developing and maintaining warehouse location labelling
• Comply with corporate policies & procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines
• Maintain personal workspace & common areas in a neat and presentable manner.
• Perform other duties as needed.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

• Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping orders.
• All incoming and outgoing shipments are completed in timely fashion
• Ensure compliance with warehouse management systems and standard operating procedures.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
