What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outside Sales Representative Sr position at Acosta Group?
**DESCRIPTION**
Responsible for the management of the assigned principals’ business (division and/or geographic), within designated “independent customer accounts”.
Responsible for representing Procter & Gamble at indirect Merch Headquarters. Typically, 4-5 MHQs. These indirect MHQs are smaller, less strategic customers, under $10MM annual indirect GIV (Gross Invoice Value). No one MHQ **should** exceed $5MM. While all decisions are made at the sole discretion of the customer, the OSR will be responsible selling P&G Wholesale Team plans and priorities. This role will also be responsible for communicating retail plans and priorities they sell to the retail coverage organization. There will be limited trade fund management and administrative/analytical work.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
Make sales calls on assigned independent customers to sell in new items, displays, and ads for the client.
Deliver principals’ objectives to include volume and sales fundamentals (new points of distribution, merchandising, assortment, pricing and shelving) goals at the assigned customers
Call on decision-makers at the customer to sell joint business plans, programs and concepts provided by the client.
Pro-actively communicate with the client.
Collaborate with Retail Sales Managers & Retail Business Managers on major retail initiatives sold in at HQ.
Make store calls as needed.
Utilize computer systems and technology to achieve the objectives of the Customer Business Plan. Develop and maintain skill levels to support the use of Acosta communication systems.
Complete special projects/assignments as requested by immediate supervisor.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
At least one year experience in selling or business development
History of exceeding objectives (results oriented)
Expertise in Microsoft software: PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook.
Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication, organization, presentation, negotiation, and sales skills.
Must be willing to travel.
