Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop accurate estimates for commercial drywall projects.
- Present detailed estimates to management during review sessions.
- Incorporate direct costs, indirect costs, support costs, and overheads into each estimate.
- Maintain and update cost databases to reflect actual project outcomes.
- Analyze production factors that impact the cost of materials and labor.
- Prepare precise material and labor estimates for drywall installation.
- Manage bids from vendors and contractors to ensure competitive pricing.
- Perform detailed cost analyses using bid data and project insights.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma with relevant experience, or an Associate's degree with drywall estimating experience.
- 1-2 years of drywall estimating experience, preferably in commercial projects.
- Strong ability to interpret and analyze financial documents.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Experience with PlanSwift, OnScreen Takeoff, or Quick Bid is a plus.
