We are seeking an experienced Director of Labor and Delivery to oversee our high-performing L&D unit in Hickory, NC. This leadership role ensures optimal patient outcomes, regulatory compliance, and team efficiency in a fast-paced, compassionate environment.
Key Responsibilities:
✔Oversee daily operations of Labor & Delivery, ensuring patient-centered care.
✔Lead, mentor, and develop nursing teams for peak performance.
✔Ensure compliance with hospital policies and industry regulations.
✔Drive quality improvement initiatives and patient safety protocols.
✔Manage budgets, staffing, and resource allocation efficiently.
Qualifications:
*RN License in NC (or compact state)
*BSN required; MSN preferred
*5 years of L&D nursing experience, 2 years in leadership
*Strong knowledge of OB, perinatal care, & regulatory standards
