Job Summary

Hours of Operation : Monday thru Friday 7 : 00am-4 : 30pm

The Residential New Business Development Specialist position develops and implements plans to obtain new residential business. Works with the Sales Director to implement residential business strategies and programs to achieve increased sales and profitability.

Responsibilities and Duties

Sales

  • Sets new business goals and defines specific targets and timelines.
  • Develops Key Contractor Targets and a Contractor Recruitment Strategy (Identifies Needs / Wants / Uses to Obtain Results).
  • Schedules and executes territory visits to seek out new residential contractors.
  • Conducts all business in accordance with ACR Supply Company's policies and procedures.
  • Works with Marketing to establish effective marketing strategies to obtain new residential business.
  • Works with procurement on residential inventory levels.
  • Works with Sales Leader to develop and maintain dealer programs and rebates.
  • Some overnight travel required.

Inventory

  • Work with procurement for equipment purchasing and order tracking.
  • Keeps a balanced inventory to include product selection and profitability.
  • Recommend replacement parts inventory for current and past equipment.
  • Minimum Qualifications

  • College degree or equivalent industry experience
  • Minimum 3 years HVAC experience
  • 1-year experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Forms, Teams) for communication and contact management
  • A proper and valid drivers license with a record that demonstrates good driving skills in compliance with Company policy
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 years of paid experience working as a CSR in the HVAC industry
  • 5 years applying HVAC-R product knowledge in a customer service position
  • 3 years experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Forms, Teams) for communication and contact management
  • Work Environment

    This position works in a variety of locations and conditions and is often required to spend many hours driving or riding in a vehicle. While some outside work may be required with exposure to weather conditions, majority of this position is worked inside an air-conditioned office and client facilities. Some overnight travel as needed.

The team member must occasionally lift and / or move objects up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
