What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Lead, Market Design position at Acre?
Acre is partnered with a household energy system operator responsible for the power supply to over 35 million Americans.
The client is looking to identify a leading market design and economics professional to bolster their business. Working for the Head of Market Design, this senior lead will play a pivotal role in evaluating market structures and outcomes - with the goal of presenting these findings to leadership and implementing new market design optimizations.
This role will play a key part in this company's transition as it continues to take on further customer demand - offering a unique chance for a market analytics professional to gain exposure within such a prestigious organization.
What you bring to the table
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar field
- 4 Years of power system analysis or econometrics analysis within the power/energy industry
- Strong power/analytical software experience such a PROMOD, PLEXOS, or PSS/E
- Fundamental understanding of LMP or FTR Markets (preferred)
- NERC/FERC regulatory understanding (preferred)
