Job Summary
Team Leader at Shawnee Springs Market is responsible for opening or closing of the retail store.
Job Requirements
1. Provides assistance to the Manager who oversees both the farm market and retail market by filling either bakery, deli, retail or farm market role.
2. Responsible for unlocking/locking the doors at the start and end of shift as scheduled. The Team Leader will need to ensure building is secured at the end of the shift.
3. Ability to work in any department to include food service, gas, grocery, produce, beer/wine, dairy, deli, tobacco, lottery, over-the-counter medications, and grocery non-edible.
4. Support policies and procedures as developed by the General Manager and Corporate Operations.
5. Ensuring that the highest level of customer service is met by supporting staff at Register, Deli and Bakery.
6. Assisting team with production standards are met at the Deli and Bakery based on PAR sheets
7. Working with the team to ensure sales floor is neat, product levels are appropriate for the given day, grocery shelves are stocked, clean and neat, beverage cooler is stocked and cleaned.
8. Assist with restocking the bake table and self-serve deli case by moving product up from the shelves below following FIFO as needed.
9. Working with the team to ensure the cleaning list is completed in a timely fashion and then check and verifying that task were completed before staff leave leading by example.
10. Complete PASS C Operator training specific at Cross Junction Market.
11. Promotes corporate management philosophy in dealing with the public and personnel in a respectful and polite manner.
12. Assists with cross training all staff for all departments following company standards.
13. Ability to come to work on time in all variables of weather.
14. Other duties as directed by the Manager and Corporate Operations to ensure the successful operation of Shawnee Springs Market.
Qualifications
1. High School diploma or GED
2. Minimum two years preferably in a retail convenience store situation preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
1. Proven ability to deal effectively with the public.
2. Experience working with customers, bakery and deli a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
