About the Role (job title and summary):
As a Sales Manager, you are responsible for sales opportunities, building and setting up new relationships with licensed dispensaries in the state and promoting our products to ultimately generate sales and increase our brand awareness. The ideal candidate for this position will come with proven success selling business-to-business in the cannabis industry and is intimately familiar with the cannabis scene. Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Achieve growth and meet sales targets by designing, implementing and reporting progress against a strategic sales plan, which expands the company’s customer base and ensures its strong presence at retail. Keep abreast of and analyze current trends to help inform and shape sales strategy.
- Build and promote long-lasting customer relationships through strong partnerships and an understanding of their needs.
- Build relationships with other industry players across each license type to lead the distribution of wholesale flower and trim.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotes.
- Ensure all necessary sales paperwork is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Prepare product for sale and transport via the Seed-To-Sale Software
- Track and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to management
- Act as the point of contact for any customer inquiries, providing excellent customer service
- Address and resolve customer complaints in a timely manner.
- Provide feedback to the company on market demands, customer preferences, and competitor pricing strategies.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
