What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Health Case Manager III position at Acro Service Corp?
- Reports to the Clinical Supervisor. Individual Supervision is provided at the Clinical Supervisor’s discretion.
Duties:
- Interviews clients, family members, and/or persons deemed necessary to obtain the most complete case history.
- Provides technical guidance to professional and para-professional staff, and monitors subordinates to assure a quality level of services. Trains and orients new staff.
- Maintains a caseload, providing therapeutic treatment to clients and families.
- Participates in inter-disciplinary team conferences to help the program grow.
- Prepares narrative and statistical and reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Make home visits with a peer to assess a client’s needs.
- The ability to coordinate treatment and other services within 24 hours of the client asking for help is essential.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field but prefer Master’s Degree
- Three years’ experience in case management which includes assessing, planning, developing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating options and services to meet an individual’s human service needs using effective counseling or interviewing techniques as well as other available resources such as service plans or case management systems.
- Three years’ experience in providing clinical treatment, counseling, or determining eligibility for services or benefits as part of a treatment team.
- Six months experience in interpreting laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies, and procedures.
- Six months experience in narrative report writing.
- Must be able to communicate clearly with clients, providers
- Must be able to keep appropriate documentation
- Be self-starter, and willing to learn
- Valid Driver's license
- Preference for CADC and experience with ASAM criteria
Salary : $30 - $33
