Job Title: Scheduler (Maintenance Dispatcher)
Duration: 06 Months (Possible EXT)
Pay Rate: 32/hr on w2
Location: VA-Radford-Route 114-(VA300)

Position Summary
Maintenance Dispatch is the centralized communication hub of all maintenance related issues and needs. Dispatchers are to communicate and assign work to employees, setting priorities according to operational hierarchy, and to track KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) accurately and create reports displaying the metrics. 1. Always put Safety first in regards to all work being performed by self and wage employees. 2. Make sure work is coordinated properly to ensure safety and support for our customers. 3. Observe all safety, security, housekeeping, and general plant rules and regulations. 4. Effectively communicate with wage personnel (safety/work assignments/issues/concerns, etc.). 5. Coordinate overtime with group/team leaders as needed and report OT, with justification, to management. 6. Function as a team member. Work and communicate well with all areas of the plant.
Skills Required
One year database work experience required, including sorting data on multiple fields. Excellent writing skills, including good grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Deadline and detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
Skills Preferred
Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair crafts used such as electrical, instrument, electronic, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical, to create service call requests in the computer database required
Experience required: -
Experience with Microsoft Office, Maximo software and/or other computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). One year experience with spreadsheet applications required, including creating & modifying spreadsheet formulas.
Education Required: -
High School Diploma or equivalent
Salary : $30 - $32
