What are the responsibilities and job description for the Test Engineer position at Acro Service Corp?
Job Duties:
Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment. Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices. Provides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed. Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements. Responsible for testing all customer samples and for special tests that cannot be performed in the test area.
Basic Qualifications:
3-5 Years with Bachelor’s degree; or High school diploma or GED and 10 years applicable experience.
• Experience in performing test planning, monitoring, test integration (software installs, etc), and test execution.
• Experience with network configuration.
• Experience creating and documenting technical documents, test plans/procedures, analyzing results and creating reports.
• Experience testing Hardware and Software for performance and functionality based on requirement specifications and the ability to identify and document exact sequence of activities desired.
• The ability to lift minimum 35 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Windows/Linux or Networking certification desired (i.e. Linux , MSCE, CCNA).
• Security certification highly desired.
• Must be able to work in a technical team environment characterized by frequently changing tasks, new priorities and quick responses.
• IBCS knowledge highly desired.
Salary : $75 - $80
