Maintenance Dispatch Job Description
The Maintenance Dispatcher is the central point of contact for all maintenance-related issues and needs. This role involves communicating with employees, assigning work, and tracking KPIs.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with wage personnel regarding safety, work assignments, and issues
- Coordinate overtime with group/team leaders as needed
- Report OT to management with justification
- Function as a team member, working well with all areas of the plant
Preferred Qualifications:
- BASIC knowledge of maintenance and repair crafts, such as electrical, instrument, electronic, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Maximo software, or other CMMS systems
