Job Title: Senior Systems Analyst - Maximo

Location: San Jose, California (onsite)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IBM Maximo Asset Management systems.
• Manage system upgrades, patches, and configurations to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics using Maximo and associated reporting tools.
• Perform data analysis to support asset management, maintenance planning, and operational decision-making.
• Integrate Maximo with other enterprise systems such as ERP, CMMS, and financial systems.
• Ensure data consistency and interoperability across systems through APIs, web services, and middleware.
• Lead and manage Maximo-related projects, including system implementations, enhancements, and customizations.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure timely delivery of solutions.
• Provide advanced support for Maximo users, including troubleshooting complex issues and resolving system-related problems.
• Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users and administrators.
• Configure Maximo modules and workflows to meet organizational needs and improve business processes.
• Customize Maximo through scripting, integration, and development to enhance system capabilities.
• Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and quality of data within Maximo.
• Implement and enforce data governance and standards for Maximo data.
• Contribute to the development of Maximo strategies and roadmaps to align with organizational goals.
• Stay informed about new Maximo features and industry trends to recommend improvements.
• Ensure Maximo systems comply with relevant regulations, security standards, and internal policies.
• Implement security measures to protect sensitive asset and maintenance data.
  
  

Requirements

• Experience:
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience with IBM Maximo Asset Management, including system administration, configuration, and support.
• Proven experience with Maximo modules such as Work Management, Asset Management, Inventory Management, and Procurement.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of Maximo system architecture, configuration, and customization.
• Proficiency in Maximo scripting languages (e.g., Java, Jython) and integration techniques.
• Experience with Maximo reporting tools such as BIRT or Cognos, and familiarity with SQL.
• Certifications:
• Relevant certifications such as IBM Maximo Certification or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex issues and provide effective solutions.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with strong project management skills.
• Education:
• A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required. A master’s degree is preferred.
