- Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and tax compliance.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to GAAP / IFRS standards.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline accounting operations and support business strategies.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing training and performance evaluations.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Coordinate and assist with audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
