Accounting Manager
A leading Engineering Firm in the Northern Catskills is looking for an Accounting Manager to join the team. This is a successful 25-year-old award-winning Civil Engineering Firm specializing in land development and land survey projects.
The Accounting Manager will be a vital member of the organization providing financial support managing day-to-day tasks such as creating financial statements, overseeing payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense reporting, and collections. The ideal candidate will have 3 years in a similar position, possess familiarity with CORE Accounting Software, and bring a warm and sociable personality to the office. The Accounting Manager will be required to work in-office Monday-Friday at our company headquarters.

Key Responsibilities :
- Generate and maintain accurate financial statements.
- Oversee invoicing.
- Accounts Payable.
- Accounts Receivable.
- Petty cash.
- Manage Payroll.
- Manage tax requirements, quarterlies, etc.
- Oversee Collections.
- Monitors and mentor administrative staff.
- Oversee negotiation of purchasing for large items.
- General bookkeeping.
- Meet deadlines and implement office policies.
