Job Title : Senior Oracle Database Administrator
Location : Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications :
Key Responsibilities :
- Administer and maintain Oracle databases ensuring high availability reliability and performance.
- Install configure and upgrade Oracle database software and patches.
- Implement and maintain backup and recovery strategies using RMAN and other tools.
- Monitor database performance and provide performance tuning recommendations.
- Implement and enforce database security policies.
- Ensure database compliance with corporate standards industry regulations and best practices.
- Manage user access roles and permissions.
- Optimize database performance through indexing query tuning and analysis of execution plans.
- Use Oracle Enterprise Manager and other monitoring tools to proactively identify issues and recommend solutions.
- Design implement and test disaster recovery strategies.
- Administer and monitor Oracle Data Guard Real Application Clusters (RAC) and other highavailability solutions.
- Collaborate with developers to design and implement database schema tables and other structures.
- Provide expertise on optimal database architecture and design best practices.
- Investigate and resolve complex databaserelated issues.
- Provide oncall support as necessary to resolve critical production issues.
- Work closely with development and infrastructure teams to ensure alignment of database needs with overall business objectives.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations procedures and processes.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior DBA team members.
- Participate in crossfunctional team meetings providing database expertise and support.
