Job Title : Senior Service Designer
Location : New York (Remote)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Key Responsibilities :
Design and improve workflows and service processes to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
Apply lean methodologies to streamline operations and minimize waste.
Develop service blueprints, journey maps, and ecosystem maps to align teams around a unified vision.
Lead co-creation workshops with stakeholders to gather insights and drive innovation.
Utilize systems thinking to analyze and redesign interconnected service components.
Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, usability testing, and contextual inquiries.
Utilize both quantitative and qualitative data to inform service design decisions.
Advocate for user-centered design, ensuring compliance with ADA accessibility standards and inclusivity best practices.
Monitor and evaluate service effectiveness using AI-enhanced usability testing, real-time sentiment tracking, and behavioral analytics.
Collaboration & Implementation
Work closely with UX designers, product managers, and technology teams to translate service insights into tangible solutions.
Ensure smooth integration of service design insights into existing systems and processes.
Conduct stakeholder alignment sessions, design reviews, and co-creation workshops to ensure buy-in and clarity.
Support change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of service improvements.
Leverage tools such as Figma, Miro, and Lucidchart for service design visualization.
Utilize usability testing tools, remote collaboration platforms, and agile project management tools like Azure Boards.
Apply data visualization tools (Google Analytics, Tableau, Power BI) to track user behavior and improve service outcomes.
Required Qualifications & Skills :

8 years of experience in service design, systems thinking, or a related field.
Expertise in service blueprinting, ecosystem mapping, and journey mapping to identify pain points and improvement opportunities.
Proficiency in user research methodologies, including usability testing, contextual inquiry, and longitudinal studies.
Experience developing personas, journey maps, and service blueprints to align teams and guide decision-making.
Strong skills in visual storytelling to effectively communicate complex ideas.
Proficiency in Figma, Miro, and Lucidchart for interactive prototyping and design validation.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams in agile environments.
Excellent communication skills, with experience facilitating workshops, stakeholder presentations, and design reviews.
Portfolio required : Candidates must include a link to their online portfolio showcasing service design artifacts, user research methodologies, and problem-solving approaches.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience :
Experience developing wireframes, prototypes, and interactive designs to support service development.
Familiarity with agile methodologies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
Strong ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, integrating perspectives from design, research, product, and technology.
Experience ensuring accessibility compliance (WCAG, ADA standards) using AI-assisted tools for automated audits.
Expertise in data-driven decision-making using analytics and visualization tools.
Ability to balance user experience improvements with business objectives and technical feasibility.

Candidates must be willing and able to pass an assessment conducted by NYC hiring managers.
