Duties
- Visually inspect casting for defects prior to grinding
- Produce a finish on the casting that removes all cosmetic defects
- Responsible for bringing the casting defects to the supervisors
- Operate and monitor machinery such as stamping presses, milling machines, and plasma cutting equipment.
- Fabricate components from sheet metal based on technical drawings and specifications.
- Assemble parts and products with precision, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Utilize tools such as micrometers and calipers for accurate measurements during production.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Follow GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles for precise fabrication.
