AAA has an exciting opportunity to join the Branch Operations Intern – Internal Communication Strategist Team for a 10-week internship. Interns should have a career aspiration and passion for technology, collaboration, and creative problem-solving. Interns will actively participate in program contributing to meaningful projects and work closely each week with the Document Composition Team.
About the Roadways College Internship Program:
Over the summer program, interns receive tools and resources for their growth and development that will help them prepare for the current and future workforce, including:
- Understanding how to align business strategy with key objectives and initiatives
- Using behavioral and communication tools to enhance their personal image
- Demonstrating flexibility, agility, and the ability to respond effectively to change
- Cultivating relationships to increase collaboration and build trust
What You’ll Do
- You’ll evaluate the different types of information that need to be shared with branch employees and management, identifying gaps and areas for improvement.
- You’ll organize communication by priority, audience, and relevance, ensuring important updates and initiatives are streamlined and easy to access.
- You’ll design a structured plan to ensure communication is consistent, timely, and aligned with company objectives.
- You’ll tailor content to different branch audiences, making sure key messages are clear, engaging, and actionable using any of our AAA communication tools.
- You’ll work closely with leadership, branch operations, marketing, and other teams to align messaging and maintain consistency.
- You’ll gather feedback from branches, analyze communication performance, and make adjustments to improve clarity and impact.
What You’ll Need
- Must be a rising or graduating Senior enrolled in a college/university with emphasis in business degree in business administration, strategic communication, and/or public relations.
- A self-starter with the ability to communicate and work effectively in teams and cross-functionally
- You have strong analytical skills to assess communication needs and effectiveness
- You have the ability to structure and streamline communication strategies
- You have strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
- You’re proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access) and internal communication platforms
- You have strong organizational and project management skills
Internship Eligibility:
- Must commit to the entirety of the program; June 9th through August 15th
- Must commit to working full time, 40 hours per week
- Must be willing to commute to the office daily

The pay rate for this position is $27 per hour.
