Our corporate sales team is core to our business development and growth. Ambitious, knowledgeable, innovative collaborative, our salespeople help our clients navigate complex and dynamic markets where changing legislation, product availability and client requirements demand innovative solutions.
ACT is seeking to add to its Americas corporate team a Miami-based salesperson focused on expanding our client base in Latin America.
Your Role in Our Story:
In essence, your role involves:
- Collaborating with ACT's Head of Latin America and Head of Corporate Sales to design and execute a business development strategy for ACT in Latin America.
- Identifying opportunities to build new country and product business lines.
- Building a revenue pipeline through leveraging your existing network of Latin America-based corporate clients, building new corporate client relationships and maintaining a process for lead prospecting and generation.
- Establishing and maintaining strong long-term relationships with key corporate decision-makers and stakeholders in the Latin American renewable energy and carbon sectors.
- Developing ACT's expertise within regional markets including product knowledge, industry trends, compliance and voluntary market requirements and geopolitical changes.
- Creating bespoke solutions to ensure obligated parties reach their compliance goals.
- Leading negotiations, structuring deals, and closing contracts with corporate clients.
- Implementing effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets and providing regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance insights to management.
- Collaborating with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product, operations) to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
- Representing the firm at conferences and engage with stakeholders within the industry.
Your Expertise:
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:
- Undergraduate Degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Environmental Studies or a related field.
- Native in Spanish.
- 3-5 years of corporate sales experience, ideally in the renewable energy and/or energy attributes certificates (EAC) markets or the broader energy and sustainability space.
- Experience in and passion for providing sustainability solutions to Latin American corporate clients, with an existing network of clients that can be immediately leveraged.
- Demonstrated success in scaling client relationships and revenue.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets in LATAM markets.
- Highly self-motivated with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to think in solutions.
- Natural collaborator who works comfortably with both regional and global teams.
- Adaptable and flexible work style that responds swiftly to opportunities.
- Committed to in-person work at ACT's Miami office, with flexibility and desire to travel as required within Latin America.
Note: this role is based 100% onsite in our Miami office
The base pay range for this position is $85,000-$110,000 discretionary bonus annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The base pay is just one component of the total competitive compensation package for employees.
