ENGINEERING CLERK
JOB DESCRIPTION
EMPLOYER: A.C.T. Entertainment FLSA: NON-EXEMPT
DEPARTMENT: Engineering EFFECTIVE DATE: March 26, 2025
REPORTS TO: Director of Engineering
SUMMARY: This position is responsible for supporting the engineering team with various administrative tasks.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Enters item/bill of material/route data into the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
- Reads customer orders and decides the correct item to enter into the ERP system, reducing redundancy of item numbers and verifying the correct context.
- Ensures correct item and coverage settings are entered correctly to properly schedule the ERP.
- Reads orders and compiles accurate bill of materials and routes.
- Enters costing of individual items.
- Verifies correct wiring and pinouts as well as other production notes in the ERP.
- Communicates with the salespeople to ensure that all data is correct before entry.
- Continues to learn the product to be more self-sustaining
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Computer skills required: Basic Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Good Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
