Purpose : The purpose of the Design Engineering Clerk is to manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of bills of material and the data entry of additional information needed to support product readiness to produce and ship. This role ensures that the BOMs are meticulously organized, ensuring that all product specifications, quantities, and sourcing information are properly documented. The Design Engineering Clerk plays a critical role in supporting the Design Engineering team by providing timely and correct data. In addition, the Design Engineering Clerk assists in the documentation, tracking, and processing of Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) throughout their lifecycle. This role ensures that all engineering change requests are accurately recorded, updated, and communicated to relevant departments, maintaining clear and organized records of revisions.
