Senior Product Owner

Description

Actabl is building an innovation team focused on serving engineering associates at hotels. We are seeking an ambitious Product Owner to work with an elite and independent scrum team to push the boundaries of hospitality technology.

In this role you will:

The Senior Product Owner will lead the execution of the roadmap for our Innovation pod in partnership with the Director of Product, serving hoteliers and management companies. As a leader, you will be responsible for driving rapid ideation and execution of our innovation pod alongside the director of Product Operations, the Chief Innovation officer, and the Product Engineering team.

Typical Functions:

Product Vision and Roadmap

• Work closely with PMs to decompose initiatives and epics to communicate to development
• Maintain a clear understanding of Actabl's mission, and customer needs
• Demand the "why" behind each initiative to ensure the greatest business value is prioritized

Backlog Management

• Create, prioritize, and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
• Write clear and actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements.

Agile Team Leadership

• Collaborate with Agile teams to plan sprints, define deliverables, and meet deadlines.
• Provide guidance and decision-making to ensure development aligns with product goals.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for product-related queries across departments (engineering, marketing, sales, etc.).

Performance Metrics and Reporting

• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product initiatives.
• Provide regular updates on product progress and outcomes to stakeholders.

Market & Customer Research

• Travel with the Director of Product and Chief Innovation officer to rapidly process and decompose ideas into solutions

Requirements

3-5 years of product ownership experience (working with SCRUM teams is a plus)

• Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing projects and motivating teams/individuals
• Strong project management skills
• Extremely analytical, structured and experienced in handling several projects at the same time and high stakeholder demands
• Passionate about consumer product experience with a history of managing projects that facilitate or enhance customer experiences
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-oriented, and cross-functional environment
• Experience in working with Product, Engineering, and Quality to execute software projects in an Agile Environments

Salary Description

95,000 - 110,000
