Job Description
The Algorithm Control Software Engineer shall work with engineering team in support for all stages of product development from design through manufacturing and system integration. The Algorithm Control Software Engineer develops and applies advanced control systems methods, theories and research technologies in the investigation and solution of complex and advanced technical problems for power system architectures and power conversion equipment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and apply advanced control systems methods for power system architectures.
- Research technologies for power conversion equipment.
- Support all stages of product development from design through manufacturing and system integration.
- Implement control system algorithms.
- Conduct circuit analysis using Pspice.
Essential Skills
- Strong Proficiency in Matlab and Simulink for algorithm development and modeling.
- Strong understanding of control systems, power electronics, and control theory.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming.
- Experience with analog circuits and Pspice for analysis.
- Bachelors' Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 4 years of experience OR Masters' Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 2 years of experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Military experience preferred.
Work Environment
Work with multiple engineering disciplines supporting both new product development and sustainment. Opportunity to directly support military applications on safety-critical programs.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $80.00/hr.
