The Control Software Engineer shall work with engineering team in support for all stages of product development from design through manufacturing and system integration. The Control Software Engineer develops and applies advanced control systems methods, theories and research technologies in the investigation and solution of complex and advanced technical problems for power system architectures and power conversion equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (B.S.E.E.) or equivalent from a four-year college or university; Master of Science or advanced degree preferred with reduced minimum 2 years of work experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in design and analysis of control systems for power conversion equipment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret security clearance.
- 3 years experience with control systems for power system architectures and power conversion equipment
- 3 years experience with control theory and MATLAB / SIMULINK modeling
- Experienced in object oriented programming in MATLAB
Additional Skills:
- Circuit analysis applications, PSPICE
- Service-based software architectures, a plus.
- Experienced in the practical implementation of control system algorithms.
- Knowledge of power electronics and analog circuits, a plus.
- Experience in development of military products, a plus.
- Knowledge in Digital, and Microcomputer circuits, a plus.
- Must be able to work as a key member of the design team with Power Design Engineers, Digital and Analog Engineers, System Engineers, Software Engineers and Mechanical Engineers.
- Experienced in embedded real-time systems design.
- Experienced in object and service-based software architectures, a plus.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $80.00/hr.
