Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager / Project Architect / Designer. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Architecture or a similar degree, with excellent knowledge of building codes for multi-family projects. Proficiency in Revit and a working knowledge of construction document preparation are essential. The candidate must be an independent self-starter capable of hitting the ground running. Experience in mixed-use, multi-family, and commercial projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage multi-family, commercial, and NYCHA projects in NYS & NYC.
• Utilize REVIT and AutoCAD for project design and documentation.
• Work on historic preservation and rehabilitation projects.
• Oversee multiple filings and drawing sets for large preservation and rehabilitation multifamily projects across the NY Metro Area.
• Lead a team of junior architects and consultants.
• Manage client relationships and meet project deadlines.
• Visit sites to determine practical solutions to field conditions.
• Produce drawings and specifications for the renovation and restoration of thousands of apartments in New York City and the region.
• Conduct field visits for measurements and site photographs of existing conditions.
• Design, detail, and draft plans.
• Travel to project sites as needed.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Revit
• Knowledge of construction document preparation
• Understanding of building codes for multi-family projects
• Experience with multi-family and commercial projects in NYS & NYC
• Experience with NYCHA projects
• At least 5 years of experience
• Project management experience
• Excellent communication and soft skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
• Experience with historic preservation and rehabilitation
• Licensed Architect (a plus)

Work Environment

This position offers a hybrid work schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. Our office is based in Suffern, NY, with the majority of projects located in NYC. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00
