Job Title: Architectural Designer (Residential/Single Family)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Designer specializing in custom residential design for single-family homes. This role involves coordinating with consultants, creating design construction documents, and overseeing construction administration. You will also design and create renderings using Revit, Enscape, and Lumion.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with consultants to develop custom residential designs.
• Create design construction documents and manage construction administration.
• Design and create renderings using Revit, Enscape, and Lumion.
• Work on large single-family projects in the Mid-Atlantic Region with a heavy emphasis on renderings and 3D support.
• Provide construction administration and document construction details in Revit.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Revit, Lumion, and Enscape.
• Experience with single-family residential projects, particularly custom homes in the $5M range.
• Strong skills in architectural design and construction documentation.
• Experience with AutoCAD.
• At least 6 years of experience with residential projects.
• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with both new construction and renovations of single-family homes.
• Ability to manage projects from design development to construction administration.

Work Environment

The company has around 20 employees, offering a small, collaborative environment with direct access to Principals, VPs, and Directors. The residential team consists of about 5 architects who occasionally work with the commercial team. The office is located in a converted historical building in Stevenson, providing each employee with their own private workstation. Employees work on-site five days a week, with potential flexibility for remote work after the first month. This role offers significant responsibility and the opportunity to become a well-rounded architect.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $40.86/hr.
