[Job Description]
An award-winning design firm based out of Boise, ID is looking for a Planner with 5-8 years of experience. This Planner will manage the entitlements process for properties, including compliance with zoning ordinances, setbacks, and parking requirements.
[Position Details]
Title – Architectural Planner
Pay – $90k/yr. - $95k/yr.
Schedule – (Hybrid; 3 Days Onsite 2 Days Remote - Standard Monday - Friday Morning Shift)
Location – Boise, ID
[Responsibilities]
- Coordinate submissions to various agencies and secure necessary approvals, such as certificates of compliance and rezoning.
- Design sites from early conceptual stages through development.
- Work closely with municipalities, including county and city agencies.
- Collaborate with Civil Engineers and other design professionals.
- Conduct site surveys and gather accurate field measurements.
- Attend public hearings and represent the firm.
- Edit and create supporting architectural documents, such as specifications, reports, and schedules.
- Engage with engineering consultants and oversee project timelines.
[Qualifications]
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in planning, preferably with experience in California.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit and familiarity with system engineering related to architectural documents.
- Strong understanding of zoning ordinances and the entitlements process.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
