Job Title: Avionics Test Engineer
Job Description
The Test Engineer will write test procedures and interpret requirements to ensure these procedures validate the data accurately. The Hardware Test Engineer will develop custom Hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) test equipment and troubleshoot test benches and test failures.
Responsibilities
- Write test plans and procedures.
- Develop and integrate HWIL test benches.
- Troubleshoot test benches and test failures.
- Interpret requirements to ensure validation of data.
- Develop automatic test equipment.
- Work with test integration and spaceflight avionic systems.
Essential Skills
- Experience with automatic test equipment.
- Proficiency in developing test plans and procedures.
- Hardware test experience.
- Proficiency in Python scripting.
- Experience in developing HWIL test benches.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or a similar field.
- Experience in the aerospace or a similar industry.
- Working knowledge of embedded systems hardware and software.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Experience with LabVIEW is preferred.
Work Environment
The position is located in an R&D hub that encompasses all engineering disciplines, including development, testing, and integration. The role offers the opportunity to work on state-of-the-art technology and support commercial space flight initiatives.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00/hr.
