Job Title: Traveling Bridge Inspector

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Bridge Inspector for a 3-4 month project involving the construction of a bridge on McCord Air Force Base near Tacoma, WA. This role requires travel and could potentially lead to additional work for the right candidate. The project budget is approximately $10 million.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough bridge inspections, ensuring all aspects of the bridge meet safety and construction standards.
• Oversee bridge repairs and foundations to ensure structural integrity and compliance with project specifications.
• Document inspection findings and provide detailed reports on the condition of the bridge.
• Coordinate with the construction team to address any issues identified during inspections.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with federal and local regulations.

Essential Skills

• At least three (3) years of experience in bridge inspection and repair.
• Proficiency in bridge foundation inspection.
• Strong understanding of bridge construction processes and standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management is preferred.
• No specific certifications are required for this role.

Work Environment

This position is on-site in Washington and requires travel. The project starts on March 10th. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $67.00/hr.
