Overview:
Bridge of Promise is looking for a dynamic Director of Program Operations to oversee three program locations, manage Program Managers, and ensure a cohesive and robust program for members across locations. This job is an in-person position with the requirement to be onsite across locations in Bellevue, Kent, and Seattle. Bridge of Promise’s mission is to enrich the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities by providing recreational, educational, and social programs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily oversight and management of Program Managers and Direct Support Staff at three Bridge of Promise locations.
- Collaborate with Program Managers to address personnel and member-related issues.
- Ensure proper training of new and existing staff at each location.
- Cultivate a positive, professional, and supportive workplace culture.
- Collaborate with the Director of Growth & Development to schedule new member visits and to create daily member schedules.
- Collaborate with the Deputy Director to identify and implement process improvements and to ensure cohesion and adherence to safety standards across programs.
- Collaborate with the Director of HR on performance management for managers and staff.
- Approve monthly program calendars for each location and support Program Managers in calendar planning.
- Manages monthly budget and reports on key performance metrics.
- Establish and build relationships with local businesses to organize activities for members and negotiate pricing.
- Collaborate with parents to address member-related issues, including care needs or behavioral concerns, as they arise.
- Serve as a liaison, effectively communicating staff and member needs to the Deputy Director.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization in all program spaces.

- Physical Aptitude: Possesses physical capability to stand/walk for extended periods, perform various tasks such as bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs. intermittently throughout the day.
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Must be willing to work onsite in Seattle, Bellevue, and Kent. Onsite attendance is required.
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
- Proven experience in team management.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, including familiarity with behavioral interventions and caregiving practices.
- Successful completion of Washington State and Federal Background Checks.
- Able to be certified in CPR and First Aid.
- Proficient in legible writing, reading, and communicating in English.
- Current driver’s license and ability to drive a vehicle. Willing to learn (with training) how to drive an Access bus.
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.
