Job Title: Technical Drafter

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and energetic Tenured Technical Drafter to support operational maintenance and sustainment of ground-based radars critical to US and Allied strategic missile surveillance, warning, defense, and space surveillance missions. This role involves responsive and coherent planning, development, and delivery of radar hardware and software modifications in response to change requests and deficiency reports. The position is based in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Hard Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Active Secret Clearance
• Proficient in CAD programs
• Experience in creating software, hardware, and engineering drawings and schematics

Soft Skills

• Ability to interpret complex technical information
• Strong documentation and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Keen attention to detail and quality

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Colorado Springs, Colorado and some days remote.

Work Environment

This position is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and collaborates closely with engineering teams to address design-related challenges and ensure continuous improvement in the design process.
