Job Title: CAD Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a CAD Technician to join our team. The primary role involves uploading, editing, and modifying drawings using a new system. The successful candidate will help upload 11,000 drawings, validate them, and update them to fit the current system. This position offers an excellent opportunity to learn about CAD and sheet metal manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Upload, edit, and modify drawings using the new CAD system.
• Validate and update 11,000 drawings to fit the current system.
• Work closely with the engineering team to ensure accuracy and compliance with design standards.
• Utilize ERP and PLM systems for efficient management of drawings.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience in drafting and mechanical design.
• Knowledge of sheet metal design.
• Familiarity with ERP and PLM systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Associates degree in Mechanical Design or Drafting, or equivalent on-the-job experience (2-5 years without a diploma).

Work Environment

This role requires working on-site in the office. The position is initially a contract role with the potential to transition into a long-term opportunity. The work environment provides a great opportunity to learn CAD and sheet metal manufacturing.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
