Job Title: Medical Assistant

Job Description

As a member of the patient care team, you will assist providers and nursing staff with daily office duties. You will be working in an outpatient setting, performing specific duties that support patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform specific duties that support patient care
• Take and record vitals
• Conduct client intake
• Room patients
• Maintain accurate documentation

Essential Skills

• CMA or RMA certification (must be willing to obtain within 90 days of starting role)
• Medical assisting
• Patient care experience
• Triage skills
• EKG proficiency
• 1 years of experience (entry-level candidates considered)
• MA diploma

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in cardiology is a plus
• Experience with electronic health records
• Stress testing experience

Work Environment

You will be working in a fast-paced cardiology office that is family-oriented but can be very busy at times. The main locations are Glastonbury, Avon, and West Hartford. You need to be available from 7:15 AM (earliest) to 5:00 PM (latest) and will work a full-time schedule.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
