Description: A Development Chemist in the Special Hazards/Agents New Product Introduction Team works on developing and testing next-generation fire suppression agents.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research into new technologies.
- Develop new technologies into commercial products.
- Interface with 3rd party approval agencies.
- Assist with new product commercialization and production scale-up via a stage-gate new product development process.
- Handle flammable liquids and conduct live fire tests requiring the use of PPE.
- Lift loads up to thirty-five pounds.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree in Chemistry
- Surfactant experience is highly desirable
- Formulation experience is preferred
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $100000.00
