Job Description

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Chemist to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform chemical analysis of water samples using advanced techniques and support project planning, scientific data interpretation, and regulatory audits. Responsibilities

• Perform chemical analysis of water samples using inductively coupled plasma-mass spectroscopy (ICP-MS) and classical wet chemistry methods.
• Conduct sample preparation by various techniques and analysis following regulatory methods (e.g., Method 6020).
• Support project planning, scientific data interpretation, and regulatory/client audits.
• Interact with both internal and external customers to understand project requirements and plan workflow.
• Summarize analytical data upon completion and generate final reports.
• Maintain and qualify equipment, and interact with vendor service and application support.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or related Science.
• 1-3 years of experience with ICP-MS.
• Ability to commit to the work schedule.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• GC-MS experience with exposure to ICP-MS.
• Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) is a bonus.
• 3-5 years of experience with ICP (without MS) or GC-MS.
• One step virtual interview process that can be either this week or next.

Work Environment

This position is based in a laboratory environment at an onsite client facility operating 24/7. The role involves working shifts of 10-12 hours, from 7am to 7pm, with a schedule of 4 days on and 4 days off. Flexibility for night shifts may be required. Candidates should expect to work between 160 and 180 hours per month.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
