What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commissioning Technician position at Actalent?
Description
• Installation and Commissioning: Execute installations of complex electrical and mechanical systems at customer job sites. Ensure all installations meet technical standards and customer requirements.
• Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to installed systems. Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal system performance.
• Prototype Construction: Work closely with Engineering and R&D teams to assemble, test, and refine prototypes. Provide feedback and contribute to the improvement of designs based on practical installation experiences.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of installations, modifications, and maintenance activities. Generate comprehensive reports for both internal use and customer documentation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in electrical systems, including wiring, troubleshooting, and installation practices
Reading and reviewing blueprints
Familiarity with electrical codes and safety standards
Parcel, postal, ecommerce experience
Field experience
Associates or higher
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $80000.00
